Ignite Retreat
For College Students & Sullivan Young Alumni and Award Recipients (Under Age 30)
Step into our flagship leadership experience and choose from one of three tracks-Personal, Problem, or Project-designed to help you deepen your leadership, explore your purpose, and create positive change in your community and beyond.

Registration: $575
Includes:

  • Lodging
  • Meals
  • Full retreat programming

*Funding is available through select campuses to current college students and Sullivan has limited funding for new award recipient and young alumni on a first come-first serve basis.  We encourage you to reach out to figure out the best way to begin your Sullivan journey. 


Sullivan Fellows
For upcoming & approved Year 1-3 Sullivan Fellows. Applications open each summer and new cohorts are chosen each August. Only register for this if you or your school has been approved to engage in the Sullivan Fellowship. 

Our Sullivan Fellowship is a three-year program where students take a deeper dive into their leadership styles and community engagement opportunites and create a path toward a meaningful, impactful life. The Sullivan Fellowship is modeled through our ARC Leadership Framework: Agency, Relationships and Contributions.  Our fal retreat weekend, is the first in-person kick-off for our new cohort years.  

Registration costs: Participant fees are covered through campus endowment funds. No costs will be associated with registration and schools will be invoiced at a later date.

Faculty Forum
For Faculty & Staff 
Faculty and staff members are invited to participate in a dedicated forum focused on collaboration, innovation, and impact in higher education. Participants have the opportunity to bring students to the Ignite Retreat while engaging with fellow educators to:

  • Share best practices and curriculum ideas
  • Explore emerging trends in leadership and service
  • Build a network of service-minded faculty and staff across partner institutions

Registration: $575

  • Meals
  • Full forum and weekend programming

We encourage participants to inquire about professional development funding through their institution or available Sullivan endowment resources.


Alumni Assembly 
For Alumni Seeking Connection, Community & Service
Reconnect with the Sullivan network through a weekend designed to inspire and engage. The Alumni Assembly offers opportunities to build relationships, serve alongside fellow alumni, and support the next generation of Sullivan leaders.

Weekend experiences may include:

  • Salon-style conversations and networking
  • Shared community service opportunities
  • Wellness & recreation activities (based on attendee registrations, these will be organized by the Foundation) 
  • Ignite Retreat Pitch Competition Judging & Fireside Chat with Keynote Speaker 
  • Opportunity to serve as Fellows Panelists or mentor 
  • Connections with students, faculty, and Foundation leadership 

Registration: $400
Includes:

  • Lodging at Lake Junaluska
  • On-campus meals
  • All Foundation-sponsored weekend experiences

Travel expenses are the responsibility of participants. Rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Alumni participants may also arrange alternative accommodations independently. If staying off property, please request a discount code for registration so we do not factor in the lodging costs.
